fog cast before the moon
soft fingers that can’t touch her face
this river of our righteous tears
earth women bear this weight

fog on a full fat moon
fragments converge into something new
what we release has a gravity
let go of what’s not true

sweet and fog clearing moon
show me this dirt is not so bleak
lift up your skywide veil
promise me: there’s always light
